LCMS Health Ministries works with two principal missions. One is "to support and promote Christ-centered health and wellness of body, mind, and spirit through congregational health ministries." For more information on congregational health ministries, and particularly parish nursing, see the ministry area of the same name. You may also want to download the congregational health ministries/parish nursing manual and subscribe to the parish nursing newsletter.

Another principal mission of LCMS Health Ministries is "to promote and encourage Christ-centered health and wellness among Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Church workers." To do this we advocate toward a healthy worker, in a healthy family, in a healthy workplace, in a healthy congregation, in a healthy church body, in a healthy community. Resources to encourage wellness among professional church workers can be found throughout this web site.
